Do Sugar gliders ever carry germs or bacteria or possible leave-behinds like salmonella? Any preventive practices that work?

If you have 3, can you give me advice on introducing a new little one to the one we have? We aren't sure what the best approach is

My Sugars' eat grapes, mango, tomatoes, corn, sweet peas, and love Radicchio. I feed them HPW and dried crickets and live ones when I can. It is important to get their calcium and potassium ratio right during feeding. Clean their area and feed them regularly and they are some of the most amazing friends you will ever have. I am retired military but let my hair grow longer sometimes and they love to play in it. They have their run of the house when I am to tired to stay awake with them.
